Make 2022 the Year You Face the Numbers

Join Tally on a 31-day challenge to improve your financial well-being

Tally

January 1, 2022

It’s a new year and many of us are setting new intentions for ourselves about our money, health and happiness. If you’re currently carrying credit card debt, we encourage you to make 2022 the year you get on track to pay it off for good.

Not sure where to start?

We’ve got a 31-day challenge to help you kick start your financial wellness journey. Every day, starting today, we’ll guide you through one simple action to take charge of your debt, spending, savings and paycheck. Before you know it, you’ll have a financial plan in place and a whole new outlook on your money.

In the first week, we’re going to help you confront your debts, specifically your high-interest credit card debt. For many, this may be the toughest hurdle to overcome: facing the numbers.

A common story that we hear from our members time and time again is that as their debt ballooned and got out of control, they hit a point where they stopped opening their bills because it was just too stressful. In fact, more than 1 in 4 Americans currently carrying credit card debt (28%) tend to avoid looking at anything related to their finances, according to a recent Tally survey. This includes things like their bank balances, transaction history or credit card statements.

In the weeks following, we’ll help you face the numbers of your spending habits to identify what’s essential and what’s not. Then we’ll help you do the same for your savings to help you build up an emergency fund. Finally, we’ll dive into income and explore ways to boost your numbers.

How to join our 31-day #FaceTheNumbers challenge

We’ll be posting each day’s activity on Instagram, Facebook and meettally.com/facethenumbers. Follow along to learn how you can #TallyItUp and make 2022 the year you get out of credit card debt for good.

We hope you’ll join us and start the new year with the Tally crew!
